Fine Art & Fine Corsets: Dark Garden at the de Young, November 6

Have a taste of the finer things in life. Dark Garden is pleased to rejoin the de Young Museum on November 6 for Friday Nights at the de Young: Electric Couture. At this after-hours art happening, we'll be reliving and reinventing the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in celebration of its centennial.

We'll have corsets for you to try on against the backdrop of our lovely models, electroswing music, and delectable cocktails. Then, step into our photobooth with Shoot That Klown Photography! You won't want to miss the performances, either: Balla Fire's Loie Fuller tribute and belly dancers Mira Betz and Yvonne Michelle are sure to please. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Michael Milano and the young guitar virtuoso Roberto Granados and his brother Ernesto.

Admission is free, including access to the de Young's permanent collections. For those wishing to view the current special exhibitions such as Jewel City, a discounted $15 ticket is available during Friday Nights at the de Young.
